Nonsense. Even when it lays claim to fools grinnin' at how wizened they felt (for a moment only), nothing about it can be said to have any bearing on what was actually understood. Umpteen million checker games going on inside prisons, outside corner shops, at parks in the grass and at home with a glass of beer. Pitting one against another. Leapfroggin' over piss poor decisions made in haste or out of cornered desperation. Who concedes defeat when it has already been determined there can only be one winner? A winner is only a winner because another one lost the game. They rise and fall together. Just play the damn game. You cannot fail. Make your move. Move with confidence. Don't eat the label.
